Showcase your department at
Fire-Rescue International’s “Innovation Alley”
Fairfax, Va., January 27, 2005…Join us for the return of Innovation Alley at Fire-Rescue International, August 12-13 in Denver, Colorado. This special pavilion in the exhibit hall is designed for fire and emergency service departments like yours to showcase innovative programs, products and services, and to share your expertise with other chiefs.
Do you have a success story to share with other Fire-Rescue International attendees? We want to know about your innovation, whether it’s a wellness program, a billing and collection method that works for you, a community involvement program, or unique and helpful products or services you've developed for fire prevention and education. Anything goes if it can help others run a better department.
At the conference, selected departments will provide attendees with a one-page summary that includes program highlights, how to get started and a point of contact, and departments will staff their display throughout the exhibit hours. IAFC will provide selected departments with complimentary display space in Innovation Alley, including a table and two chairs. In addition, each department will receive three exhibitor badges for non-registered staff that will allow them access to the exhibit hall.
Innovation Alley is only open to fire and emergency service departments. For more information or to request an application form, contact Karissa Jacobs at 703/273-9815 ext. 338 or kjacobs@iafc.org. The form can also be downloaded at www.iafc.org/conferences/fri.
Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2005.
About Fire-Rescue International 2005
Whatever their rank or type of department, FRI 2005 promises to provide attendees with the tools needed to survive in today’s ever-changing world. FRI is the premier place for fire service leaders at all levels to keep up-to-date on the most critical issues facing the fire service; to network and exchange ideas with your peers from around the world; and to explore the latest innovations available for the fire service.
The 2005 educational program has been developed to meet the needs of every fire service leader, from the up and coming company officer to the seasoned chief. The conference workshops include more interactive hands-on programs that will cover some of the toughest challenges facing fire service leaders—including fire fighter health and safety, the fire chief’s role in homeland security, violence at fire and emergency scenes, and evaluating visible smoke and fire conditions. At the general session, legendary quarterback and NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw will inspire you to succeed by managing your most important asset – attitude.
At one the most comprehensive fire service exhibitions, you’ll discover the latest products and services available to help you do your job more safely, efficiently and effectively. Take the time to try out the latest products and services— walk through decon trailers; try on helmets, gas masks and turnout gear; and examine new engine trucks—and benefit from the hands-on, face-to-face experience at FRI.
Also, FRI provides the unique venue to network and exchange ideas. No other conference brings together more fire service officers—your peers who face the same challenges every day.
