IAFC Executive Director Search Update

Fairfax, Va., November 20, 2006...  IAFC President Chief Jim Harmes has formed an IAFC search committee for the position of executive director of the IAFC. The search committee consists of the IAFC executive committee and the following individuals, who have agreed to serve:

• Mr. Anthony Campisi, president/COO, Glatfelter Insurance Group
• Mr. Steve Doyle, executive vice president, Central Station Alarm Assn.
• Chief Mary Beth Michos, Prince William County Fire and Rescue, Va.
• Chief Bruce Moeller, Sunrise Fire Rescue, Fla.

A list of qualified executive search firms was developed and a request for proposals for the IAFC executive director search was sent to those firms. The firms interested in providing these services must have a demonstrated record in working with associations in filling very senior executive-level positions of this nature. The proposals must be received back at IAFC headquarters to the attention of Chief Harmes by 12 noon, ET, December 6, 2006.
